Maxim are a supplier and support provider for Auto ID and mobility products. Our expansive portfolio covers label printers, barcode scanners, mobile computers, RFID, supplies, vision systems, bespoke applications and more.

2002
Maxim Computer Services is founded by Nick Wright and Eddie Grice. Primarily a printer repair provider, we serviced industrial line and dot matrix printers from brands such as Printronix, TallyGenicom, IBM and Oki.
1989
We are awarded the Printronix EMEA Service Partner of the Year 2002/2003. The introduction of our workshop allows us to bring repairs in-house and repair devices like scanners and PDTs.
We continue to expand with new focus on the thermal printers and the growing scanner/PDT market. Our field and workshop repairs are a core part of our business. Maxim become a partner of Zebra Technologies and our portfolio now includes Motorola, Datalogic, Intermec, Printek, Datamax, Toshiba Tec and more.

Maxim Computer Services are acquired by Hiro Iwasaki to become a part of Infinity Group, a global IT support and software provider. We work to seamlessly supply and support hardware for their customers alongside Infinity solutions.

Maxim celebrates 25 years!
Motorola is acquired by Zebra. Barcode scanners, mobile computers and rugged PDTs are now a key part of our portfolio. Our software team role grows and we develop bespoke software applications to complement our product solutions
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Maxim are awarded Premier Partner Status for the first time.
We also receive an award from Zebra for largescale refresh at a major automotive manufacturer.
We are sad to see the end of an era! Nick Wright retires and Eddie Grice moves to a part-time sales position. Julian Phelps is appointed to director and Maxim continue to grow and move forwards!

Our customer base grows as we acquire Thermal Printer Services, taking over the printer maintenance and support contracts.
