Handheld and In-Counter Barcode Scanners
The Problem

Our customer has a legacy system running across 50+ retail stores across the country with limited connectivity options. Due to the age of the system, the connectivity options have been depreciated on the latest range of hand held barcode scanners, and no upgrade path is present as the connectivity is now obsolete.

The Solution

Utilising Maxim’s extensive stock and workshop, we were able to refurbish the customers old stock of barcode scanners for use and offer repair services for future failures with the old stock of barcode scanner. Moving forward, Maxim’s electronic experience is able to convert newer USB scanners by building a bespoke electronic convertor to communicate to the legacy system enabling the customer to refresh their barcode scanner with the latest devices.
